Halloween Wanderland

Halloween Wanderland

BS9 Window Wanderland are promoting an event as a covid safe alternative to trick or treat this year. Instead of knocking on doors, children are being encouraged to help make decorative displays and then tour the area to see them.

Households can join in by decorating their house, windows or garden on 31st October. The theme can be halloween or Day of the Dead, Divali, Fireworks, or simply the changing season.

Past Window Wanderland displays have been decorations added to windows, residents then leave their lights on during the event so that passers by can enjoy the display. Tissue paper, cut outs and many other materials can be used to make colourful displays.

The last Window Wanderland took place in February when Sea Mills and Coombe Dingle took part together with Lawrence Weston, Avonmouth and Shirehampton.
